These Peak District landscape prints showcase fine art photography from the gritstone edges, heather moors and green valleys of Derbyshire and the Cheshire side of the Peak. Photographed by Chris Warham in every season, these images are printed to order and made to be lived with on your wall.
The Hope Valley is a favourite. Look for the heather and weathered rocks at Surprise View, sunset light on Carshead Rocks above Hathersage, and Stanage Edge beneath April storm clouds. Higger Tor, Owler Tor and Millstone Edge add more gritstone character, the Great Ridge runs from Mam Tor towards Edale, and Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hill rise above the Upper Dove Valley.
Closer to Macclesfield, the western Peak District brings Shutlingsloe in snow, the view from Teggs Nose across Macclesfield Forest, Windgather Rocks and Shining Tor, the Cat and Fiddle on the Buxton road and Three Shires Head with its packhorse bridge and waterfalls. White Nancy on Kerridge Ridge above Bollington is photographed at sunset, and the Macclesfield Canal appears under fresh winter snow.
Among the landscapes you will also find a longhorn cow at Teggs Nose, red deer on the skyline, a solitary winter oak and a golden Cheshire wheat field at harvest time.
Golden hour, winter snow and the purple of heather change the character of each view, so the same hill can look entirely different from one print to the next. Larger sizes suit the wide moorland skies particularly well, and the unfussy gritstone subjects sit comfortably in both modern and traditional rooms.
